I, Hasan Abdusamatovich Musayev, was born in 1960 in the city of Turkistan. In 1986, I graduated from the Faculty of Biology and Soil Science of the National University of Uzbekistan with a degree in Biology. In 1990, I defended my Candidate of Sciences dissertation in Biology on the topic: ‘Functional State of the Cotton Plant Immune System in Connection with the Effects of Pesticides.’ I worked as a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Botany of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and later served as the Head of the Laboratory of Plant Ecology and Physiology. More than 50 scientific articles, as well as 6 manuals and methodological guides in the field of biology, have been published under my authorship.
